SS Birthday Reminder

Remembering someone's birthday is a very polite thing to do, especially when it comes to friends and family. Keeping track of everyone's birthday is difficult and forgetting one could have unpleasant consequences. Thanks to social medias, like Facebook, we can always be reminded of an anniversary. If you want a more traditional method, which does not require a constant connection to the Internet, SS Birthday Reminder is the right tool to use. The idea behind it is simple. It helps you create and manage databases with birthdays and other information about your contacts.

The size of the installation package is very small (359 Kb), which means that it can be downloaded even with the slowest Internet connection available. As compatibility or system requirements go, there is nothing to worry about. SS Birthday Reminder does not feature any functions which may drain your resources.

The user interface is quite simple. It features a table of contents, where you can add a person's name, nick, date of birth, ICQ, and contact information (phone, mobile, email). Entries can be added or edited at any time by making use of the options in the top menus. From the general options panel, you can set what sort of details to be displayed in the table, have the program alert you of an upcoming birthday a few days in advance and more.

The created database can be saved as a file, which will be loaded automatically the next time you launch SS Birthday Reminder. It is also possible to merge it with a XML file, export it in MS Excel or export it as a HTML file. The package comes with two .exe files. The first will launch the software itself and the second will display a birthday reminder in a pop up message, in the lower right corner of the screen.
